Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed a shared commitment to cooperation in efforts to promote peace in the region. He met with Jake Sullivan, US National Security Advisor, and Brett McGurk, Deputy Assistant to the President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa.

Prior to the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which will take place in Dubai in November 2023, the UAE is committed to deepening its cooperation with the US to address climate change.

Sheikh Abdullah also met Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, the US Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism. Yemen’s humanitarian suffering must be alleviated through a peaceful resolution as discussed by the two officials.
