The Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America (USA) signed an agreement today regarding the employment of spouses of employees at the Oman Minister of Foreign Affairs headquarters. Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry Mohammed Nasser Al Wahaibi and Ambassador of the United States of America Leslie M. Tsou signed the agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, the spouses of diplomats at diplomatic missions are eligible to work in non-governmental organizations in the host country. The agreement falls within the framework of the advanced relations between Oman and the United States and affirms the eagerness of both nations to boost their cooperation.
